Adrienne J. Orbach, LMSW, J.D.

Attorney Adrienne J. Orbach’s social work and collaborative law training, along with her public speaking and community involvement, formOrbach the foundation of her practice and professional philosophy. Adrienne provides her clients with personal attention, advocacy and, when necessary, zealous representation.
Adrienne graduated from Fordham University with her Masters of Social Work Degree in 1988. She earned her Juris Doctor Law degree from Pace School of Law, graduating with honors in 1999. While attending Pace Law, Adrienne earned the White Plains Bar Award for Excellence in Clinical Services and a Revson Fellowship. At graduation she was selected by her peers to receive the Adolph Homburger Humanitarian Award and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association Foundation’s Achievement Award.
Upon graduation from law school, Adrienne served as a Fellow at the Greater New York Law Clinic at Pace Law School and as a Social Justice Fellow at the Social Justice Center, White Plains, NY. She went on to be the Interdisciplinary Coordinator for Fordham University‘s School of Law and Graduate Schools of Social Work and Psychology. She entered private practice in 2001.
Adrienne has served as an Adjunct Professor at Pace University School of Law teaching Counseling, Negotiations and Interviewing, and at Fordham University teaching Social Work and the Law to graduate students.
Adrienne received the Karen Z. Bell New York State Bar Association Award of Merit in 2014 in recognition of her work training lawyers of the Pace Moderate Means Panel in the area of same sex marriage and family law.

In 2014 Adrienne was appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section LBGT Sub-Committee.

Community
Adrienne served on the Board of John Jay Legal Services of Pace University School of Law. She has been Treasurer and is currently Director for the Westchester Women’s Bar Association. Adrienne served on the Membership Diversity Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association and is currently serving as Co-chair of the LBGT sub committee for the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section. .
Adrienne is celebrating her fifteenth year as a team leader for the American Cancer Society Making Strides against Breast Cancer annual event. She is preparing to train as a volunteer in the STRIDES Ski Program at Catamount Ski Resort.
